Java Mail
My application called for sending email to customers, so I did a Google search for Java Mail and came up with Sending Email From Your Application Using Java Mail.
This example was great and I had my app sending emails in no time at all. The example even shows how to use javax.mail.Authenticator for email servers that require password authentication.
